This year, GIZEMO presents the classic N-1 NAVY alpaca wool jacket as part of its Factory Legacy collection. To us, an "authentic reissue" means more than just reproducing the original contractor’s name or swapping labels — it reflects a more rigorous and exacting approach to restoration, capturing not only the form but also the spirit of the original.

For this N‑1 NAVY "Hellhound" edition reissue, we have refined a number of key details:  
The Jungle Cloth fabric has been softened, and the navy shade recalibrated to closely match the original wartime tone.  
The pattern has been optimized under the arms to improve mobility and comfort.  
After a full year of adjustments, the wool ribbing achieves the ideal balance between historical accuracy and elasticity, faithfully restoring the distinctive textured structure of the era.  
The zipper features a period-correct Talon M41 aluminum-tooth design, and the label follows authentic reissue specifications.

In the finished jacket, these nuanced refinements come together seamlessly — bringing it close to the perfection we envisioned.
