Thinsulate insulation is composed of fibers that are one-tenth the diameter of typical fibers, allowing more air to be trapped between them. Within the same volume, a greater number of these fibers can be packed, enabling more efficient reflection of body heat. Additionally, Thinsulate absorbs only about 1% of its weight in water, allowing it to retain warmth even in damp conditions.
